Website Update

I've posted my art on the website. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the art for sale page.
I'm going to keep adding to my blog as a way to document my journey. I'm gonna be posting my new pieces soon. I've got a couple of Self Portraits and a kooky new thing.
I also have a profile on deviant art
I'll see if maybe I can even post things on there since they do provide a print purchasing service.

OMG, I've got a website!!!

Yeah, that's right, I'm writing my own website!!!!!!!!! The address is theartgeek.net . Right now there is nothing there but my little logo and an under construction sign, but I'm hoping to get the front page up soon and the others elements will follow. But if you like staring at blank pages, go for it, lol. OK, that's all I have to say but I was so happy, I had to blog it!
YAY!

My Favs

The following are some of my favorite images I've done between 2001-2008. Most of my subjects are either self portraits and family related. Aside from both being great models, I've always tried to find a way to inject my work with feeling and passion. The easiest way to do that is to paint subjects that have deep meaning to me. I've also done some Chinese ink painting which is very calming and therapeutic. Anyway, that's the kind of artist I am and here you go:

I've set up a Flickr page with my art (I've also got my knitting on there if anyone is interested). I say this again because I love to paint; if anyone is interested in a commissioned piece, please contact me through blogger and we can discuss your vision!

Art Maker, Art Lover

Hello! My name is pepper and before I was a knitter or a gamer, I was and still am an artist. I wanted a place to showcase my artwork since my focus more recently has been on teaching and not promoting my pieces.
This blog will be connected to a flicker page where all of my art will be posted, but it will also be a place where I can talk about my favorite pieces, artists, and current exhibition. To sum it up, lots of art talk!
P.S. If anyone is interested in any of my pieces or in a commission, contact me via blogger and I would love to work with you!
